What is considered a long or too long Luteal Phase?

layni - January 22

I have read that anything longer than 20 days is considered "bad" and anything less than 9 also not considered to be "normal, or good" Hope that helps.

Brenda, maybe you O later than you thought? I really hope so....

Ok, just have to elaborate a little on what Layni said. a "too long" luteal phase is not necessarily bad as long as it is less than 20 days. A luteal phase shorter than 10 days does not allow enough time for embryo to implant fully in the uterus and therefore would cause problems with ttc.

Thanks for your answers. Venus i do think i O'd around that time, if not the day they show then only one day later.
