HELP Question About LH Surge And Ovulation

I got an LH Surge one day, and not the following day. Then I got a positive LH Surge again the next 2 days including today. However, today my cervix isn't nearly as soft as it was the past couple of day and my cm isn't as fertile today. I also had spotting yesterday and again this morning. My temp is still really low today, but is it possible that I already ovulated yesterday even though I had an LH surge again today. Am I ovulating twice? You always think you understand everything and how it works until something odd happens to you. :-p

I have read that sometimes your body get a surge b/c it is going to ovulate, but doesn't which can explain the surge today. I have also read that OPk's are better predictors for some people than the body signals. Good luck!

It is possible that the test you took that was negative, was a faulty test. Especially if you had 2 + after that. When I took my tests I took one on Thurs (5pm) & it was definately +. Then took one Friday (same time) & got another +. Saturday there was a line but it was lighter than the reference line, therefore it was negative. Sunday the line was even lighter. When you took these were they all positive (test line the same shade or darker than reference line) or were you just seeing lines??

Heather the first one was just as dark as the 2nd line. One the 2nd day it was lighter, and on the 3rd and 4th day it was darker. Maybe I did something wrong on the 2nd day. It just seems like a long time for an LH Surge. I thought you were supposed to ovulate within 24-36 hours, so I thought I would have ovulated by now.
