AF QUESTION TMI

**TMI** Hi ladies. Look at me, couldn't stay away 1 day, I said I was taking a vacation from ttc...lol. Anway, I am currently on CD2 & I can usually feel when af is coming out & I haul ass to the b.r. & I usually have at least a spot in my undies, but this time it came when I woke up. I always look in my undies before I sit/squat on the toilet but nothing was there until I peed, then blood came out too. Now, it wasn't a lot, I always have a heavy flow the 1st two days & then slows down for the remaining 3- didn't happen this time. I used 1 pad (always use tampons) purposely to see how much blood was coming and I didn't fill 1/4 of the pad in over 4 hrs. but I changed to tampons last night & filled 1 1/2. Today I filled one a lil quicker. Has anyone ever had a period go from light to heavier? For some odd reason, I think it will end before the 5 days are up, too. Is that normal because I never experienced that? And no, I do not think this is related to pg, although it would be nice. From what I undestand, it's too late for implantation. My af was 3 days late. Another thing, I don't know if anyone has ever noticed a smell (not stink or fishy- that's more than likely an infection, I know & I don't have one) when they get there af? I usually can smell it (I guess the blood) but this time no smell at all. Real weird. I know women go through changes & af may act up occasionally but I just wanted to hear other women's stories. All opinions welcome!

What's a molar pregnancy?

Emma2 - June 29

Ladyd, I dont see anything wrong with your period. I mean my cycle wasnt always the same. And welcome back LOL

a molar pregnany is like a bunch of cell like jelly stuff...it was supposed to form into a fetus, but didn't...I guess that's the best I can explain it...

Emma, I don't really think there is anything "wrong" with it per se, but it's just odd to me how it can go from light to heavy when I think it would it more common to go from heavy to light because think about it: when you cut yourself, you bleed heavy until it eventually slows & then stops. I guess with a period it can vary & do what the hell it wants...lol. Ashleyd, how do you know if you have a molar pregnancy, do you test positive on a hpt, do you bleed? Now that it's been mentioned I'm just curious to know what it is.

LADYD how you know you have a molar preg is your hcg is abnormaly high and you get abnormal periods or spotting

LadyD - June 29

Togirl, I am not pg. I was asking ashleyd how do you know if you have a molar pregnancy. I don't anything about it at all- I'm trying to find out details here, I'm just curious because I never heard of it.

LadyD,I have had periods that would be light and then get heavier,i think it is normal.A few times i would get my period, heavy at first then get light and go back to heavy and even go a day sometimes two days longer than what it should have.So then i had gotten on bcp because my cycles were so messed up and unpredictable.and after i stopped the bcp my cycles stayed more normal. My information probably is not helpful to you,but i was telling you my experiences.good luck, girl.

Thanks, Rhonda. I guess it is true about every cycle being different in some way. I am not getting back on bc, haven't been on it in over 3 yrs. Last time my hair started falling out & I wouldn't stop bleeding. If my af decides to come every 40 days or 30 days or whenever, so be it. I don't even care anymore. Sorry- think I was venting from the frustration of how my af is changing & p__sing me. It sucks when you go from knowing so much about your body to not knowing what the hell the changes are for or from. Thanks for the info, everybody.

LadyD,Have you been under alot of stress?b/c stress can mess up your cycle,if you dont eat properly it can affect your cycle as well.Have you ever been checked for fibroids?Im not trying to be nosy, just trying to help you figure why your af was different than it usually is.
