A Thought

If you bed every other day from cycle to cycle..and you regularly ovulate..would there be a chance of missing your O??..i have been racking my brain about this one..some other women want to weigh in on this with me??

I was thinking about this for my plan of action in making a baby. I don't think I ovulate though, but if I did ovulate and I have s_x every other day and he ejaculates in me and I lay on my back for 20 minutes after then how could I miss? I think every other day leaves a very very small chance of missing O, I don't know how you could miss O then.

i heard that you should not bd everyday because the sperm doesnt have a chance to..for lack of a better phrase..renew itself..so i though as my plan of action this month i will bd every other day starting on cd8...i think that i o i mean i have had 2 pregnancies in my life...so i guess we will have to see what hapens...hey everyone has their methods...right??

this was exactly my plan for this month too! I think this would be a pretty sure way of not missing O and the best opportunity to get it right. Plus, it should be a little less stressful...not watching and waiting for O...just do it! :)

Did you guys start right after..i started on cd5 then again at cd8..now we are going to every other day until af arrives...(if she does)...we will have to see

its too stressful to track everything and wait..a lil bding might make the 2ww a little better..ya know less stress and less stress is the best way to concieve

Sperm can live inside of you for 3-5 days. If you bd every other day you shouldn't miss your O time- just up to those little guys to do their work! I've been using that method this month also starting cd5 - although we ended up bding every day for 3 days around the time I *think* I O'd. Going to keep doing it all month too, just in case I was wrong about O (not using opks or temping this month), and also b/c then you just get to bd a lot! :)

Well this is our first month trying it this way...and I have af right now. If af remains the way it is, we probably can start cd5. It is extra light for some reason. I usually am going strong for 5 or 6 days. So I would say between cd5 & 7 we will get started.

yea i started on 5 and then we bd cd8...this is cd9 for me so tomorrow and then when i thnk i am oing i am gonna do it throughout everynight..hahaha..
