AF Amp OVULATION

If you get your period, obviously you've ovulated, right? Or is it possible to get periods but not ovulate? I'm just concerned because I've read some posts where women are saying they are not sure if they've ovulated or not. So, period=ovulation, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

Ok, I could be wrong on this one - but I'm pretty sure you can have your af without ovulating. I'm thinking back to high school bio and it seems to me that your uterus sheds its lining when there is no egg to implant. So, I would think you would still have a period. Have you looked up online more info? Let me know - I should probably know this!!!

When you are on the pill you still get periods but you don't ovulate. I am just getting off the pill and having periods but I wonder if I am even ovulating. Try buying the ovulation prediction kits.

You can definatly have a period and NOT ovulate its called anovulation. Your body can gear up to it but then not release on egg even with a + opk.

How in the world do you test + with an opk and not be ovulating? I mine as well not buy on then.
