Am I Pregnant I Don T Know

My cycle is almost always 29 days, sometimes, but rarely 30. My last period began on Friday, October 1 and I still haven't started and it's November 3rd. The thing is, I took 2 pregnancy tests (one during the day, and I saved the other to take when I woke up in the morning) and they both are saying negative for pregnancy. Why is my period late?

If you have no early signs of pregnancy whatsoever, you may have gone irregular for just this once. If you feel pregnant, or have reason to believe you may be pregnant, test again in a week. Some folk build up their hormone levels more slowly than others. Good luck!

Thank you for your response. I will test again in several days. I don't know if I can wait a week. The suspense kills me!

Have you looked at the tests since you took them because both my positives took about an hour after testing to show up on the test.

Yes, I did look at them....the tests I took were "confusing"....said things like, "positive result in one minute....wait the full 3 minutes for test to run....do not read test after 10 minutes." They have lines on them now, but they probably would either way, right?

If they have lines in the positive section of the test than chances are you are pregnant. The time frame is just on there because the factory has to put it there. Like I said mine took about an hour or atleast until the urine dried from the strip to show a faint line. I know my positives were correct because I am now 5 months pg. Good Luck.

I am pregnant for sure. I don't know why those other tests were negative...maybe my pregnancy hormone was not strong enough to detect. Anyway, thank you for all your help and advice.
