An Unusual Quot Period Quot

Ok I am losing my mind here, and can't pry myself away from google. LOL! grin I just really need some opinions/experiences if that would not be too much trouble? :) I have a 15 month old son who is still nursing, but I got my period back when he was 9 months old, and it has been very regular since then. My periods are always heavy and last me a good 6 days. So anyway, a few days ago I got some brown spotting and assumed I was starting my period even though I shouldn't have started it for about another 5 days. I put a tampon in and forgot about it. So when it came time to change the tampon I noticed that it wasn't even half full... not even a third full. It was really just some on the sides and brown still with a tiny amount of reddish blood. I took it out and decided to go without one to see if my period was going to pick up. Well, it didn't. I've just been spotting brown ever since and for the most part it's only enough to notice when wiping. Tonight I am noticing that it's almost completely tapering off now, but I'm cramping just a tiny tiny bit. It's that dull cramping feeling. So my question is this: Does anyone think I could possibly be pregnant or is it probably just a strange period? Possibly br___tfeeding is interferring with my cycles? It's driving me insane that my "period" is so weird, because I am SO regular, and have always been regular! lol I don't even know how much bleeding/spotting would be considered possible to indicate pregnancy, even though I DID have the very tiniest amount of spotting with my son right around the time my period was due. It wasn't this much though, and I had only noticed that because I had been doing internal cm checks. :) Any input on this is so very appreciated. I realize that nobody can give me an answer on this, but I would really love to hear some opinions.

well sounds like it could be pregnancy. . . i understand what it's like to be very regular then all of a sudden a fluke happens and it makes your mind spin. Well since you know the drill I guess wait to see if af comes and if not test away!

Well the spotting has stopped, so I'll just have to wait and see. If I don't get my period in a week then I'll test, but no sooner. :) I don't like the idea of possibly getting a false answer. lol
