Another Pregnancy Test Question

I took the first response test and could the one line be lighter than the other

yes it absolutely can be. I found this site because of that experience! I had one strong line and one really faint line but after I tested again I never got another faint line, just the one usual line. I wasn't pg so I'm not sure why it even showed. It was very faint though and usually they say a line, however faint, is a BFP. The word from First response cust service is that if you can still see the line under strong light (beside a window for example) then it is a positive result. You could see my line but really had to squint so either that test was faulty or it was a very early miscarriage. Let me know how you get on. x

would it be wise to take another one, but a different brand?

Kari - March 16

Absolutely! That is exactly what I did, I ended up using about 4 different brands, it cost me a fortune! Lol Try Clearblue, I don't know anyone who's not got an accurate reading with them But don't use the digital one it's a bit off sometimes. If that's too expensive buy a store's own brand, they've always been pretty good too- like walmart's/Asda's. Good luck K xxxx

Save your money. Wait a week when the hCG is 4x what it is now! First Response Early Result is one of the most sensitive out there, according to one independent test.

I know that first response is sensitive but it is not infallible. It is worth taking another brand too. If you check on google for reviews of first response then it brings up a lot of bad stuff as well as good. With all respect I am a girl and it wasn't accurate for me. It has been accurate before, but not that time. I'm not trying to be nasty about your point I just know I had trouble with first response ept. It's up to you K, see how you feel. xxxxx
