hi Amy, thanks, I am 7 wks preg, and sometimes(like once every 4 days or so) I will wipe and have the lightest pink on tp. You can barely see it, but I do because I am looking. I have no cramps and have symptoms of being pregnant. I go to my Ob for 1st check up on Wed. Thanks again.

that is actually normal and can happen for the whole first trimester in some women. as long as you are not having cramping then it will be fine! also around the time you would be due for af some women cramp and some cramping is normal as everything is changing, but if you have really painful cramps then call your doctor, but what you are explaining is normal...good luck!! if you have any more ? feel free to ask. i am actually finishing up my OB rotation right now!!!!

I have a question if you wouldn't mind trying to help me. I had AF on 9/17(normal), 10/19(brownish) & 11/23 and now it's just a brownish color. What could this be?

have you tested to see if you are pg? also have you had a miscarrige in the past 6 months?

J - November 28

No to both of your questions. What do you suggest? Thanks for your advice.

amy p - November 28

i think first i would take a test to see if i were pregnant. are you trying? have you been on birth control?

molly - November 28

Hey Amy P! I graduate from nursing school in December too!! Congrats!

J - November 28

Not trying and no I have never used birth control, but my husband and I are very careful. He uses protection everytime.

amy p - November 28

well i would start with the test. if it is negative maybe you should see a doctor your cycle could just be messing up, which is fairly common. so good luck..let me know if you test.

to amy p! I hope you ladies don't mind me coming in. I would like to ask you a question about different contraceptives? I know this is a pregnacy site but it's the only place that actually has an up to date forum. anyway -- what have you heard about vcf films, do they work well. and what about foam. i was on pills but the were making me extremely sick and i just couldn't handle it. I can't use condoms because they are very painful. My husband and i have been married for 8 months so were not quiet ready for children yet? any suggestions. Sorry if I b___ted into somebody else's forum:(

amy p - November 28

thank you concerned:) and i am here if you have any more ?s i may be able to answer....good luck! nikki-the films and foams are okay but should usually be backed up by something else..not a real reliable form when used by its self...have you thought about Nuvaring or the patch? Nuvaring is a a round ring that you place up inside you for 3 weeks, take out have a period and put another in. it is a good forn and very reliable b/c the hormones are released right there vs through the whole system. also the patch you know you place somewhere on your body and then same concept take off, have period replace. would these be options you could consider? i know alot of people that can not tolerate the pill sometimes these work for them. just some other options. the foam is better then the film though if you are using this as a method, just not too sure i would feel safe with that alone...good luck!!

to amy p Hi I was wondering if I could ask your opinion as well. This last month I had a very light period like 2 days of light spotting. since then i have had menstral like cramping. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests and they have all come up negitive. I have been tired and nauseated but These cramps are driving me crazy I am now due for my period next week. Do you think I could still be pregnant? I get a blood test tomarrow but am frustrated with Negitives so I am not really looking forward to my doc calling my and telling me another neg. Thanks.
