Anyone Using Clear Blue OPK

Hi! I wanted to try out Clear Blue OPK at 11th day of my cycle. As instructions mention LH surge is detected when a test line is darker than reference line. My problem is that reference line is very very pale and I'm wondering if the test is OK. Does any one out there has experience using Clear Blue OPK?

Are these the pee sticks? if yes, I used them, but my reference line was dark. Usually much much darker than my test line (except the day i ovulated).

Thanks for response. Yes, they are pee sticks and I checked expiration date, and that's OK. I'll try to collect urin in the cup next time, but I'm afraid there is something wrong with all 7 tests.

Ana, they recommend NOT using first morning urine too. It's better to wait 4 hours and test later in the afternoon. As ovulation 'usually' happens during the day and evening, rather than at night. I bought my first opk on Saturday and it was also clear blue easy. I did have the dark reference line and the lighter surge line. But I took it again this afternoon and it was much darker than Saturday's test. Good luck. You may want to call the 1800 # and see what they think. I hope you didn't buy a faulty one. GL

No,I think with Clear Blue you can use first morning pee. Also, they say that b/c you might get a false pos. I peed in a small dixie cup first, then dipped. I didn't ovulate until day 22, so I used them alot!!! MICHAELA- is it possible it was earlier than you thought, so you missed it? Did you continue to test until your af?

Hi Michaela! I think that you and I have stumbled upon bad tests. Ovulate or not, the reference line should be dark, not pale. There might be storage issues (Like beeing stored somwhere in cold before I bought it) . It looks to me like test lost its sensitivity.
