Sorry, I couldn't remember where I read this question so I thought I would start a new thread. I was actually looking at this last night - it's called Hughes Syndrome or Sticky Blood. Apparently 1 in 4 recurrent miscarriages are because of this syndrome (they generally say the miscarriages occur in the second or third trimester but it can be in the first). It has something to do with blood clotting. In some instances it is as easy as having a junior asprin each day and that is all that is required. I'm told that it is really easy to find out if you have this syndrome with a simple blood test. I have read that It is a syndrome that isn't well known, even in the medical community. Hope this information is of some use.
