Are These Pregnancy Symptoms Or PMS Symptoms

Brief background: I was on the pill for 7 years and went off in March (2 months ago) in order to try to conceive. Prior to the pill, my periods were irregular. My first cycle off the pill was 37 days long. Thus, my period could be due any day from yesterday (Thursday) to next Saturday (9 days later). Still with me? Here are my symptoms: Extreme tiredness since Tuesday. Back pain. Increased sensitivity in my nipples. Aversion to coffee (which I have every morning) despite my tiredness. Also, Wednesday morning I woke up to a pulsating sensation in my lower abdomen, which stopped after about 2 or 3 minutes. Any insights would be most greatly appreciated. I'm an eager Wanna-Be-Mom. :)

You may well be, however, I would warn you that after getting of the pill this last July (been on them for 3 yrs) I had months and months of pregancy symptoms with no period and yet negative tests. I felt and looked as though I was pregnant (swollen b___sts, nausea, fatigue, bloating, etc). I was distraught to find out by finally going to two doctors that the pill had thrown off my hormone balance so I had an estrogen dominance and for 10 months my body had been building up cysts. I had to get back on the pill and flush out the cysts. It was a devastating time for me. I don't tell you this to be negative but only to encourage you to keep an eye on your body and pursue answers because they don't necessarily just come to you. I truly hope that you are prego though and wish much *baby dust* on you. Most people say that the first pregnancy symptoms feel very much like PMS and they even feel like they're going to get af so who knows you may be!!!. Good luck to you!

Yeah, there's really no way to know, especially if your hormones are freaking out from going off the pill. I didn't start to see any consistency in my pms symptoms until 4 or 5 months after stopping. All you can do is wait it out. Good luck!
