Ok, I've been doing so well with my temping..was ready to wake up this morning to find out if i am getting ready to O or not and what do you know? The damn phone rings at 612am, so of course i'm thinking "oh c__p something is wrong" and i jump up to get it and it is dh asking a ridiculous Q...My wake up time is 615(like he couldn't wait!/) anyway, so of course my temp is going to be messed up(i made sure that i talked with my mouth hardly open! i'm a dork!)...i jumped right back in bed (only up for 30sec. tops) and layed there for 10 min. and then temped..how much of a difference does anyone think that would make on my temp? it was 97.14-i charted it as 97.0 because i know that made it go up just a bit...anythoughts or am i going to have to discard that temp? thanks in advance!

If you havent gotten up from bed then it shouldn't be that much of a diff...I think

Even if you did, 30 secs is hardly enough to increase it much. I personally wouldn't fret on it. Temps can vary randomly by quite a lot more than your temp would go up in 30 seconds anyway, so your temp after that 30 secs will be within all the other errors of measurement anyway!

Thanks emma and lin!

I wouldnt worry about it too much hun.....I would temp, get up, go PP, and get back into bed, temp again ( because I like to test everything ) and it would be the same....a rare occasion .1 degree diff.
