Good morning every one. Wow the forum sure was slow the last few days! Guess we are all tired and ready for nice weather. Well I am with a school nurse today and then tomorrow is MY LAST CLINICAL!! hurray! I just have finals left! My pinning ceremony is a week from Thursday! My family will be here Wednesday. I know for sure my mom/step dad and Dad and step mom and sister are coming. Along with DH's family but they live here. So how are all the pregnant and non-pregnant ladies doing? I can't believe how time flies! Justine you and I are about 28 weeks! (according to U/S my boy is more like 29 weeks little piggy.) So that makes Em about 32 weeks then! Holy cow Em you are getting close! I have an appointment with a cardiologist next Monday. I had another bad night last night with the palpatations and I thought they were getting better, sheeesh. All I know is if its pregnancy induced and its bad they will start testing the baby's lungs and get him out as soon as he is ready to come. Well I better be getting.................hope to see lots of posting today.

by the way when I say starting testing his lungs, I mean around 36 weeks, etc. Not now... he he.

Hey ladies.. My OB doc just called and said that the AFP test came back negative, so that makes me happy.. Now I can't wait to really start feeling this little one move more (stronger movements I mean). I feel the baby from time to time but I just can't wait for that first solid kick or punch, haa haa, hopefully it won't be in the bladder or kidney though. So DH is coming back tomorrow I'm soooooooooooooo excited.... Ashley I'm sorry about your heart palps... I talked to my OB doc and asked if I could take the enzyme called Coenzyme Q10 and he said it was fine. I used to have palps before I was pregnant and those worked wonders for me. Perhaps you could ask your doc if you can take them. My heart palps have eased up a bunch but I think I may still take them once I get the vegetarian brand of the enzyme so it doesn't have that glycerin in it. Anywho CONGRATS Ash on almost graduating I bet your are super excited, so does that mean you'll be an LPN or RN? My sis is studying for her RN now.

Emily - May 2

Ah, my sis had her pinning last may, and her grad. she got her full four year degree with bachlers and everything, is that what you are doing, or just the RN part? she was right out of high school and decided to go for the full thing right off so she wouldn't have to go back later if she wanted to.....well I am 32-33 weeks depending on what date you go by. I am getting so excited. Call me crazy, I am hoping the whole labor and delivery thign doesn't go too fast. They say the second, third, whatever goes faster than your first. I had a great delivery with Mary (besides the tow hours I was on pitocin w/out the epidural) and don't want to have a bad one this time. I want to have time to deal with it all, you know.....anyway I am still so excited, my dh feels the same this time. well gotta run, hope everyone is good. where is everyone? well see you later. and hope you two heart palps get better.....

OMG Emily you are getting so close. I can't wait to hear all about your labour story and then hopefully to see a photo of your new arrival. I'm always reading the birth stories on the 3rd trimester forum so I can try to get myself a little prepared although it seems that everyone's labour is so different. Ashley - congrats on having almost completed your training, that must be a great feeling. Can you believe we're 28 weeks pg! My little one is the opposite of yours and taking her time on getting big - a princess already it seems...lol! Amyn - that's great news about your AFP result, now you can relax and enjoy your pg and with dh coming home tomorrow you can enjoy a double celebration. I'm doing great and finally beginning to really enjoy my pg now that the sickness has gone and making the most of occasional bursts of energy. I'm off to the mall now to get a birthday present for my sister. Speak later.

Hey girls. I will be an RN. Our program is a little weird. You go for THREE years and come out with an ASN and then you do the bridge program for 20 more credits and have your BSN. So dumb I know. But the way I see it, no matter how much higher in schooling I go, i wont be paid any more... he he. I will finish the bridge program in a year or two. Or do it slowly online. The LPN program here is 2 years. Amy, what is coenzyme Q10? I've never heard of it and where do you get it?

Morning everyone, I have been pretty busy lateley. Went to appleton to go shopping w/my mom over the weekend. Found a dress for my sis's wedding in little over 2 weeks. wow! Today is cd 29 for me. I figured i'm just going to wait til next week since last month it came on cd 33. So i am not going to go poopsing. Wow I can't beleive how much time flys on here. I didn't realize all of you preggers were already that far along. And AmyB if you are reading everyone is still excited to hear from you, I've been too busy to even catch up on here since work has been really hectic and planning a bridal shower/bachelorette party for my sis. I hope your little one is doing good and please please tell us about it. I dont want you to think that none of us care. And i bet the others think that way too.

hey ladies i have a smalll problem. okay my aunt and my sil were planning on giving me a baby shower and them doing it together. well my aunt went ahead and decided that she wanted to throw one the last week in may beacause her kids would be in school and she doesn't want to fight with them. (she never informed my sil of this) well now my sil has found out about it being this month on a weekday and she thinks it's a bad idea because people work on weekdays (herself included ) so no one will be able to make it. Now my aunt feels like my sil is trying to take over and has completely backed out and said "well, i'll just buy you something and give it to you later." which means that not only is she backing out of helping with the baby shower but she isn't even going to show up if my sil gives me one. i feel like i'm in the middle and i don't know what to do. i told my aunt that they could give 2 different showers but but she says no just let donna(<--SIL) do everything and i'll stay out of it.... i should have listened to carrie, i think it was carrie, who said to do it yourself. who was it that said that anyway???

Emily - May 3

It was Carrie.....I tend to agree with your sil about it being on a weekday. If it is in the middle of the day, too many people work and some people would have a hard time being able to make it. I am not sure what to tell you about the rest of it. Maybe just let your sil throw it since your aunt seems to have backed out. Just make sure your sil invites your aunt even if shesays she doesn't want to go....maybe you could let her know how much it means to you to have her there....How is everything else going? Feeling ok?

Justine - May 3

Wow, these baby showers do cause alot of problems. You would think it would just be a nice simple thing but for some reason that doesn't happen. I'm in a similar situation where I told two close friends that I didn't want a shower as I didn't know enough people here yet but now my dh has said yes to one of his friend's offer so I've now got to let my friends know... hope they understand.

IT'S A BOY!!!!! My ys had her baby!!! He was born May 2nd, at 10:58 a.m., 6 lbs (.02"), 16". Tiny little bean! His name is Preston Edward-James Clermont, big name for such a tiny baby. lol I've already nicknamed him Beeker becuz his bottom lip looks like Beeker's mouth (from the Muppets). Mom and baby are doing just fine. She started having contractions Monday night, went in at 6am Tuesday. I got the phone call at 6:15 and I was at the hosp. around 7:45am. She started having contractions almost non stop around 10:30 a.m., baby was born at 10:58 a.m. I saw the birth, that is quite amazing! It just makes it more special and.......wow!! To actually see him come into the world. Of course there was some drama during the delivery between my mother and my os, but I'll get into that later. Right now dh and I are going to go see Baby Preston. Just wanted to let you all know where I've been. Take care all! I've got more to say, so i'll be back later!

Justine - May 3
