So i told dh that i made an appt. He goes for what. I said well i still haven't gotten it. he goes oh. So when do you go in. I told him today (well told him last night). He goes oh so you could find out that your pg? I said possibly. then i told him that they are doing a blood test. he goes are you sure they will find out that soon. I said what do you mean. He goes well your not that late are you. I looked at him and laughed. I told him what cd i was on and eveything and tried to explain it to him. Men just don't understand. LOL. He goes oh so your cycle could still be screwed up. i said yeah. I told him that not sure what they are going to do if it comes back neg. my ob will be there today so not sure if she is giving me the results or what. I really hope today isn't busy at work. Ashley congrats on passing all your tests. Do you have a job lined up yet or are you going to wait til after the baby is born? How is everyone else doing? Emily i just remembered did they move your due date up one day? cause last i remembered it was on my bday june 25 but last week you said it was the 24th.

Emily - May 16

Michelle, I have so many dates, that I am not even sure. If you go by the first thing my doc said, it was June 26 (subtracting 3 mos from my lmp way of figuring.) It is June 25 if you count 40 weeks from lmp, it is June 24 according to my 8 week u/s and June 21 according to my 20 week u/s so my doc said we will go with June 24 since it is in the middle......so it is really anybody's guess. It is funny what you say about your dh and your cycle. My dh took a good health cla__s in high school so he understands that every 28 days for a normal person (if anyone is actually normal) but he just asked me when it was due and then understood what it ment if it was late. He was the one who told me to test wuith Mary a day before my af was due. He said you wait every month and you are late every month just from stressin over if you are or aren't so just test and you will know and then we can get on with trying or celebrating.....Justine I am on bimonthly appointments. Every two weeks. Just because of how far along I am. I should ahve another u/s sometime to tell me the postision of the placenta. It as a little low at my 20 week and he wants to se if it has moved out of the way. If not there is a chance he will want to do an c-section. I guess if it is too low, it can cause bleeding and hemoraging durring labor. I am hoping it has resolved itself. Even though being able to schedule the birht would eb nice, not wanting to be cut open.....so we shall see. Amyn, good luck with your u/s and you will have to let us know what it is, hopefully your little one will be helpful. Ashley, glad you are done!? I bet it is one less thing on your mind now.....well gotta run. . Dawn, I have to get up several times to pee to and I toss and tun, and ash, my hubby is getting a little impatient, but he understands.....Hope everyone else is good. Carrie, Elisabeth, AmyB, AshyB, how is everyone?

yeah and he didn't even know that a blood test was more accurate then a urine test. I can't wait til everyone starts pops out their babies so we can all see them.

Ashley - Congrats again. Talking about bding, I'm not even in the mood, I feel bad cause my poor DH was gone for 3+ months, so I told him just to let me know when he wanted it cause it didn't look like I would anytime soon, this sucks, I was hoping my libido would be higher not lower, =P. Emily - I will be sure to let you all know the s_x when we find out. Michelle, good luck with your blood test today, I hope you get your BFP. So ladies when is a good time to have my baby registry done by? Thanks

Dawn - May 16

Justine-I'm sure everything will be ok and you also get to see your littleone again, which is great. Well I had to go and buy pantyliners today becuase whenever I sneeze I end up peeing a little-oh the joys of pregnancy. Ashley-dh and I are going through a similar thing in the bedroom department, but its more so my dh that doesn't want s_x. Before I got pregnant we would bd twice a week, but then when I hit 18-19 weeks pregnant and dh felt the baby move it went down to once a week and after 22 weeks pregnant we haven't had s_x as my poor dh doesn't like the thought of it while I'm pregnant. I don't mind now becuase my back, hips and legs ache alot.

Justine - May 16

Hi everyone. Amy - i'm not sure what the tradition is but i think we left ours abit late as basically by the time the invitations had gone out people only had about 3 weeks to buy off the registry. i would say as soon as you find out the s_x then start putting your registry together as then you can have a nursery theme if that's what you're planning. also give yourself plenty of time because as a first-time mum you'll want to check every product out if you go to a megastore like babies-r-us and the whole process can take hours. dh will never let me forget our 3-hour extravaganza that only got us half-way around the store...lol! by then he was done in and had to drag me out as i was still having so much fun. Emily - my placenta is completely the opposite of yours as when I had the 18-week u/s it was right underneath my belly b___ton so well out of the way for delivery. I got my results back from the drs yesterday, I pa__sed the glucose test (yey!) but have low iron levels so will start on the iron tablets today. Not looking forward to that due to the side-effects! Michelle - good luck with your appointment today.

Hey Dawn, we were writing at the same time there. My yoga teacher recommends doing kegels (250 times a day!!!!!!!) for little leakages like that. I have been trying to do them (but never get anywhere near 250) and do think it helps a little.

michelle - May 16

I heard that kegels do help since it makes the muscles stronger. And also helps w/delivery. but 250? when i think about doing them i get tired of it. LOL.

Emily - May 16

oh my 250 times! I can't imagine! Amyn, I think I had my registry done by the time the invitations to the shower went out with Mary. I was father along than you, but there is no harm in starting early. You can take stuff off and add as many times as you like most places, so it shouldn't be a problem. Plus most registries last until well after your listed due date in case someone wants to buy you something after the baby is born. Just a word of advice, after you have your shower, go back and adjust your registries. Some people may print out the paper, but do not present it when they check out and then it doesn't get taken off your list. So you may end up with duplicates even at your shower. We did, but just returned one item and used the money to buy something else off the registry that we didn't get. We also used that time to update it. Take stuff off, add to it and so forth. Dawn, I also have the problem of sneezing and leaking. Very nice. Got to watch out for the coughing and such too! In the bding department. I am never in the mood and DH is. This is a little diff with us since this isn't our first he got over the issue of bding when pregnant with the first. He keeps reminding me that while my feelings have changed, nothing on his side has. He is so understanding really. He just gently reminds me sometimes....and he does get a bit upset but in all he does understand and is good about it. We average one to two times a week. Not anymore but on rare occasions less than that. It will only get worse after the baby. Cause you can't do anything for about 6 weeks anyway and even after the doc gives the okay, if you delivered v____ally, you still don't' feel like it....especially if you had any st_tches to repair cuts or tears.

Thanks Justine.. We are making a trip to Atlanta one day over Memorial Day weekend to go to Babies'R'Us. I'm excited, I hope we can find a crib we like there because there is nothing here in this c___ppy town and I really don't want to have to purchase a crib online. ugh. I started doing a registry online at Amazon.com but only have 10 things on it.

Justine - May 16

250 kegels sounds impossible (and it is...lol!) but you're supposed to be able to achieve that by doing 10 each time you stop at a red light in your car for example. i always forget that when i'm driving and just do them whenever i actually do remember which with this pregnancy brain (or lack of it) is not very often...! as for the bd you're all chatting about, i think my poor dh has just about given up as i just don't feel like it. in despair i think he's retrieved his computer games from the garage to take his mind off it...he he!

michelle - May 16

My sister registered about a couple weeks before she sent her invites out as most of the places that she went had planning book w/inserts to put in your invitets to show that you are registered there.

ashley - May 16

Em I am on appiontments every two weeks too. I guess she decided after my 28th appointment (in the third trimester) that she wants to see me every two weeks. I think starting at 34 weeks she wants to see me weekly.

ashley - May 16

Amyn-I was lazy and we don't live near a store so I didn't do a registry. My girlfriend just put "she's doing cla__sic pooh theme" and I got lots of really neat stuff. Carrie-I never liked winnie the pooh either when I was pregnant with DD, but my dh has been called pooh since he was born because he looked like pooh with his orange hair at birth. (ofcourse he has blonde hair now not orange!!! it wasn't even like orange it was that lunango hair and it was like yellowish like pooh bear) so needless to say it grew on me since my husband likes it. I call this baby "little pooh" right now. My aunt drew me a really cool picture and sewed around it. Its winnie the pooh. so cute.

michelle - May 16

3 1/2 more hours til my appt.

ashley - May 16

michelle good luck on your appointment. I hope you get some GOOD news. Cause I can't imagine why the clomid, etc isn't working?

michelle - May 16

oops 3 1/2 more hours til i'm done w/work then 4 1/2 hours til my appt. Yeah i agree. you would think that the clomid would help me be regular as it stimulates ovulation. maybe i will be able to find out some answers today. Lacey checked in on the snow babies thread. she is doing good and is 23 weeks already. they decided not to find out the s_x of the baby.
