I am wondering when it is best to bd. I have heard that it is better to bd every second day instead of every day. However, during ovulation is it better to bd every day? Please help, have been ttc for over 2 years.

I'd like to know too. I would think that if you bd every other day, then it would be fine to bd every day too. It's not like the extra will go bad or wreck anything, right?!? I'm sure there a scientific formula out there

I just thought it was better to wait two days because then it has a chance for the sperm levels to increase. Perhaps someone who has gotten pregnant can tell me what they did. Thanks.

I got pregnant after trying for six months. For the first five months we did it every other day leading up to O and then everyday during O week. The month I got pregnant, we decided just to do it every other day instead of everyday during O time. I have read that it is okay to do it every day if the man's sperm count is fine, however, my husband had his sperm checked and it was fine, but we got pregnant doing it every other day. I think that is what did it. I have read that you should wait at least 36 hours for a man's sperm to replenish in number and motility. Good luck!

have you had any testing done yet??? 2 years is a long time...

I have had all of the tests done. They cannot find anything wrong with me. I do have chronic pain syndrome from a car accident I was in over two years ago and my doctor thinks that this may be putting extra stress on my body because I am always in pain. However, I have unexplained infertility. There is nothing wrong with myself or my husband so I am hoping if I can get my stress down, it will happen for us. If not, we will try iui.
