i am extremely nervous....i had unprotected s_x 3 days after the end of my period...my bf pulled out but i am still driving myself nuts.......I went to the OBGYN 4 days after that and she took a pap smear....I was wondering if the pap smear would be able to detect whether or not I am pregnant?? Please help

I don't believe a papsmear can tell....you should have asked for a pregnancy test!

YES actually, they do look at your cervix when they do a pap, and they feel your ovaries and your uterus (at least thats what they do with me, and its just a routine pap. I think if your uterus/cervix was abnormal from pregnancy (enlarged, etc) they could detect something not right, and suggest possible pregnancy, and confrim with a test.

No, only an internal exam, much later than when you were examined, could determine if you are pregnant.

Yeah it really would depend on how far along you are...they do say that when a woman is pregnant her uterus actually turns a bluish color...I'm not sure when this can be seen...as for uterus growth you would probably have to be at least a few months into the pregnancy to tell...your ovaries really have nothing to do with "being pregnant" and therefore would not change during pregnancy that I am aware of...
