Many don't actually find out they have hpv (genital warts) until they are pregnant. You could have had it for years and not had a breakout. I found out I had it when I was pg with my daughter. They went away eventually after I had her and are back now that I am pg again. The reason it shows up a lot in pregnancy is because of your horomones and your immune system is down a little, allowing the warts to pop up. My doctor a__sured me that there are SO many people out there that have it. He said I would be surprised how many pregnant women he sees with HPV as well. I think the only thing to be concerned about is them being on your cervix during labor. I really wouldn't worry about it.
