I want to know if one can experience symptoms of pregnancy while its still too early for the test to detect it?

how long has it been after your last period that you took the test? don't trust those test, or you'll be broke.

Yes you can. Symptoms start at implantation about a week before your next period. Do not mess with tests until you have missed a period (even though it says 4 days is OK)

Vonda, I havent missed a period, thats the thing. IF I am pregnant, it would have occurred between Aug 30-Sept 5, which by my calculations would have been two weeks after the previous period started, however my thyroid is off and so I'm not always on schedule. Ive taken two of the supposedly ultra sensitive urine tests but i just had another period from Sept 16-18, however symptoms are persisting and now im tossing my cookies. if i recollect correctly, the blood test at the doc is less sensitive than the urine test...dont know what to do next, i hate waiting. i want a baby but i have medications and conditions to juggle if its gonna work!

Really, a period dosn't matter, i had one for two months, and was pregnant. just hope that you are pregnant, think pregnant, and have patients. Wait on the Lord! Pray!

i believe the blood tests are actually more accurate than at-home or urine tests. i think i read in my medical book here that the blood test is 100% correct in detecting the pregnancy hormone (hcg). Call an advice nurse or ask your doctor to be sure though.
