I was wondering if you can buy vitex over the counter? Have many of you had luck or heard of others having luck with using it? Thanks, Julie

i am taking vitex currently... no bfp but i have o'ed so much earlier then ever before so i am hoping it is working for me! Ella has taken it and wound up with her BFP this cycle! You can buy it OTC and if I recall correctly I saw it at Kroger, maybe even Wal-mart but I always get mine from my local Herb shop. I have done TONS and TONS of google seraches for it online and that is what convinced me to purchase it! Good luck! I hope others can give you the answers you are looking for. I must add that it is something that should/needs to be taken for a while (as in 1-3 months before really seeing a difference) but can be taken up to 18 months.

thanks so much - how long have you been ttc?

julierae - January 21

5 looong months. I know that may not seem for long but man it feels like it. How long did you try before you became pregnate? I cry every time I start. I have a daughter from a previous relationship but m y husband and I dated from the time she was 5 months old, so he considers her his. But I want so much to give him one of his own.

I know that it seems forever...this was our 3rd month. I found that using Fertilty friend.com and charting/taking my temperature really helped me to determine when I was ovulating so that we could have perfect timing! Are you temping or using opks????

julierae - January 21

well really all we have tried so far is using the ovulation caculator. I have been paying attention to my body signs also. But 2 months ago, Inlaws were visiting. Kinda killed the mood and last month mu DH was gone. Our luck has been kind of slim hitting the rightday.

I o'ed early this month, by 3 days....and I never would have known if I wasn't taking my temperature and using my opk's!!! Then I wouldn't have bded at the right time and might not have gotten a bfp! I highly recommend taking your temp/charting it on fertiltyfriend.com and using internet cheapie opks!!! GL hun!

You should probably start taking some prenatals with the recommended daily folic acid needed. It helped me and try not to stress so much, just relax and let your body do the talking, it will tell you everything you need to know.
