You can get pregnant from having s_x during your period - less likely but still possible. You can also be pregnant and have what still looks like a period, at least during the first trimester and occasionally longer. If you feel pregnant, wait a week from when your period would nornally have been, then take a home pregnancy test.

i wouldnt advise that because if your hormones arnt high enough to stop your periods then they arnt high enough to detect pregnancy, i know that because i just found out that im 6 months pregnant and ive had my periods all the way through and it wasnt once detected on a htp

I've been looking for others that had their periods and were still pregnant. I've had two "abnormal" periods. Just lasting 2 days and that's it. I bled for a day or two, they started off "strange" with a mucous and brown discharge. However, I have had every symptom you can think of....extremely sore b___sts, dark areolas, tingling nipples, from size D to DD, Constipation, heartburn, ga__sy, bloating (?) and my clothes feel aggravating on my belly, and it feels very hard just above pubic bone. I sure as hell feel soooooo pregnant (I was pregnant twice before), but I'm getting negative HPT test? So what now?
