What does your cervix feel like when you're pregnant? Mine is high and hard, like the tip of my nose, but I thought it's meant to be soft when you're expecting? If I am, I'll be around 8 weeks (doc's count) due to miss my second period in a few days. Shouldn't my cervix feel different?

Unfortunately, you can't tell if you're pregnant by checking your cervical position. Before and after your period, it's low. During ovulation, it's high and "open". Since it returns to a low position after ovulation even if you're pregnant (for the initial first week or 2) you can't feel enough of a difference to spot pregnancy. Cervical position is only used to determine possible ovulation, not pregnancy. It's just very tempting to check especially when the waiting game is so frustrating! I hope this helps you and best of luck this cycle!
