How common is chadwicks sign if you are pregnant? Chadwick's sign: Dark-blue or purple discoloration of the mucosa of the va___a and cervix during pregnancy.

It happens in your 2nd and third trimester

Ok but what is it? I'm in my 2nd trimester with my third child and never heard of this.

Ok I looked it up but couldnt find any great answers yet...It is when you uterus turns a bluish color...

Though the one thing I did find said that it starts in the first trimester...as well as a softened uterus

OK - Enough is enough of the wondering - I don't quite know how to put this without sounding disgusting but her goes Chadwicks sign is a blue tinge that colors the inner part of your vagins ( you can see this if you bend over in front of a mirror) you can get this when pregnant but this can also be caused by the build of blood when you are about to start your period) Hope that helps.

LOL...thats not the worst I've heard...but it was interesting to hear though I have not found a lot of info on the subject..
