Hey ladies. I was just wondering if any of you guys monitor your cervix or cervical position. While pregnant, what is your cervix supposed to feel like.??? the more answers the better thanks!!

Huddie,I know that during Ovulation the cervix will be higher and more difficult to reach. And it will feel wet and soft and may even feel open. And after ovulation the cervix should return to a more firmer position. But im not sure how it feels during pregnancy, but hopefully someone will be able to give you a answer.

ok well i think mine is yoyoing around because it has been high, soft and wet the whole 2 week wait..now it is high tilted up a little and a little bit firmer..oh lordy I'm oh so confused....another question does anyone know how accurate the first response early test is...it says you can take it 4 days before missed period..well im supposed to start on friday and took one today and received a negative result..I'm just so down this month..I want to be preggers more than ANYTHING...

The cervix doesn't really change until you're around 6 weeks pregnant or later. Don't bother trying to see if you're pregnant by monitoring your cervix, because it will only fool you. I've had mine high, soft, closed and wet for the entire 2 week wait before only for it to drop and open the morning af arrived. To be perfectly honest, the combination of all those characteristics is almost never the same. The only thing really consistent about mine is that it softens and opens right before af arrives.
