ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor

This is my first month using my monitor and FINALLY yesterday on cd24 I had my second bar (high fertility) and then this morning it's back to one bar! (low fertility) How could this have happened? As far as I understand, that should have meant it detected the surge saying I was about to ovulate. So how come the next morning it didnt detect anything? Has this happened to anyone? Please help, this is so frustrating! lol

don't get too upset. I am using that same monitor and it usually takes a cycle or two to get to know you. The monitor is doing what it sometimes has to do in order to give you a correct reading. In the meantime keep all the test sticks and read them yourself. Look at how dark the lines are and take your best guess. Next cycle will be better, I promise. Also, the people on the help line are great and very knowledgeable- give them a call if you are still worried.- Also I would have s_x now just in case if you can.

I definitely plan on calling them today. I just can't understand why it "detected" something one morning, then nothing the next. I know my cycle is real long this month so maybe that's it. oh trust me I plan on having s_x just incase!

The monitor needs to set a default - a base line so it knows what level is your surge. Next month it should recognize that level as your surge. That is my understanding. The monitor I am using actually belongs to a friend of mine who has loaned it to several people so for example I got 4 high days before and then two peak. That was probably because it was calibrated to the person who used it before me. I am really sorry this happened to you- I know how frustrating it can be when all you want is the baby - not all this other c___p!
