Hope nobody minds that I started a new one...can somebody tell me how to do that piczo thing, I was hoping to post some pictures! Hope everybody is having a great day!

tonia - June 20

HI Kelly! Go to www.piczo.com and you should be able to figure out how to create a site! It is really simple ; ) Oh yeah, it's good you started a new thread! We need a fresh start for Summer!

Becca - June 20

Kelly, thanks for starting a new one - we needed it! Yes, tomorrow is my favorite day of the year - the LONGEST day of the year - whoo-hoo! I love the sunshine! Let us know when you have your piczo sight up. I love seeing pictures of everyone. Tonia, you look NOTHING like I pictured you. I pictured you as very pet_te with really short blond hair. LOL! Isn't it funny the images we have in our minds of each other. I wonder what makes us picture each other in one way or another when we really don't have much to go on? Today is 10 dpo. Tomorrow is 11 dpo, and DH and I are going to see the Yankees play the Phillies. We make a day of it - go to batting practice, try to catch a ball, eat at the park, and then enjoy the game. I love baseball games, so the day should go by quickly, and hopefully I won't think much about it being 11 dpo. Then, maybe I'll work up the nerve to test on 12 dpo. We'll see how I feel.

Hi everyone! Kelly thanks for starting a new thread! Of course we don't mind! I say if you're thinking it's time go ahead and start a new one! They get long really fast! Get to work on that piczo site so we can see what you look like! Af showed for me today, not upset about it, I knew it was coming. It was really heavy for an hour(even leaked) then calmed down, I haven't had heavy period in a long time! Does clomid affect that also? I'm going to call my dr. today for my clomid prescription and ask if my dose can go up and if I can take it 3-7. Also going to ask if he will look at my charts to see which exactly i need to bd on. We are alos going to try to abstain for 3 days before to see if that helps(if it does then that means dh has a problem!) Anyway, got it all planned out! Tonia, can't believe you are getting bfn's! Becca, yay almost to the testing phase! have fun at your ball game tomorrow! I sure hope that you can bring us a bfp!

Ah, a new thread...much better. Kelly, I would love to see pics of you! Where are you from? (sorry if I asked already, but I forget). I wish I had more pics to add but my site gets kind of boring since we don't have any kids or pets...it looks like a shrine of myself...kind of weird. Tonia, sorry about the BFN...I don't get why you would be getting them and no AF. Staci has your DH has a sperm a___lysis done? Is it true that you should hold off on having s_x to build up a good sperm count? I know when DH was going in for his S.A. they made him abstain from intercourse and "manual masturbation" for four days...ah, it was a nice break! I imagine that clomid can affect AF, but once again, I really don't know anything about clomid and as of right now I'm not impressed with it either.

staci - June 20

angela, i read alot of threads where women were seeing they're RE (and i think someone on here mentioned it as well) and the RE told them to abstain for 3 days then have s_x on this certain day and many of them got pg that way. hey, it's worth a shot! no dh hasn't had a s/a, yet. I imagine that will be the 1st test my dr. will want us to do.

dancegirl - June 20

hey becca, i was just reading up on all you girls to see how you were all doing. but i noticed that you said you were seeing the yankees and the phillies and the guy i work with just left early to see the game as well. do you live in the philly area ? i live in havertown. right outside philly. anyway, sounds promising for some potential bfps and anna and sjf, i'm so sorry about AF :-( anna, i know it's sounds terrible to have to see an RE and leave your ob/gyn, but the RE is wonderful. and maybe they will do the trick ? going to an RE was the best thing i ever did. same for a few women that i know. perhaps the RE will be able to move things along for you and stop this endless emotional roller coaster ? i really hope you have a good experience with the RE like i did. sjf, i know what you mean about taking a break. when i was ttc, i would get hooked and convince myself i was prego by all the reading and comparing charts, etc. only to be really mad that i got so cuaght up in it all when af showed. but it's nice to know you have somewhere to chat and vent, etc with people who understand you 100% b/c i don't think many people out in the world understand what you're goingthrough. i'm so sorry for you both :-( tonia, really hope af stays far far away !!!!!!!! can't wait to read on........

dancegirl - June 20

staci, i forgot, so sorry about af. but i also had a very light cycle when i was on clomid and then provera to induce af. it was very light and only for about two days. not sure if it's a common side effect, but it did happen for me too :-)

Becca - June 20

Staci, so sorry about AF. It's good that you're not devistated though. DH and I took the abstaining approach this month. We'll see if it worked. I was thinking about it and when he had his SA, he had abstained for 5 days, so it's not an accurate portrayal of what really happens each month, so since I was using opks, we abstained for 5 days until I got my + opk on thursday evening. We bd thursday night and saturday morning (just incase). We'll see if that worked. It's much less stressful then the marathon bding week, that's for sure! I think that is why many people recommend every other day - to give the swimmers enough time to mature. Anyway, my bbs don't hurt anymore. I sure hope that doesn't mean that AF is going to show early. I'm at work and I'm not equiped (if you know what I mean!)

Kristina, yes, I'm from the Philly area. I live in Coatesville! DH and I are going to the game tomorrow night. He's from outside of NYC, so he's a HUGE yankees fan. I'm thinking of going as a Phillies fan, and DH would be a Yankees fan, and maybe we'll get on TV! Kristina, since we're from the same area, I was curious about what RE you used, since you were so happy with him. I've been referred to Main Line Fertility. Is that where you went? Not that my insurance covers it, but if my situation were to change, I might look into going to see an RE.

dancegirl - June 20

becca, how funny. i work in downtown west chester ! and used to live with my parents in downingtown before i got married ! yes, main line fertility is where i went and it's awesome !!!!!!!!!!!! everyone i know swears by them. everyone i talk to says that's where they went and got pregnant with them. never heard anyone who didn't get pregnant under their care. but the thing is, my insurance said they didn't cover any infertility care, but i went there and never was charged anything but my co-pays. when i called my insurance company they told me they didn't cover any fertility treatment. so i called main ine fertiity freaking out b/c i didn't think i could afford it. they told me that all the diagnostic stuff is usually covered. it's just when they start getting into actual "treatment" that i don't have comverage. say for invitro or artificial insemination, etc. but clomid was covered under my prescription plan. so i would def. recommend that you call the main ine fertility and talk to them about the insurance issue. i almost didn't go b/c o fthe insurance, and would have never gotten prego ! it's soooooooo worth the phone call to find out ! they're awesome. 2 of my friends in the last 3 months got pregnant in their first month of treatment with them. and they're super nice so i don't htink they'd mind looking into the insurance thing for you. good luck and i really hope you go there. i have a friend who works in the paoli office and could put a good word in for you :-) what a small world !!!!!!!! enjoy the game !!!!!!!

staci - June 20

Thanks dancegirl and becca. Dancegirl it's so nice of you to check on us! you are to sweet! Yeah, i'm not devastated just p__sed off at my body. or dh's. don't know who's to blame here! Anyway, just called in for my refill and they can't find my chart! The nurse who usually handles my business is on vacation! yikes! and the dr. needs my chart in order to do the refill. I hope that he ups my dosage or changes something! I wrote on my chart that i'm faxing in tomorrow if he would please tell me what days to bd because i am so confused! hopefully by looking at my last 2 patterns he can tell me exactly which day. Becca that RE sounds great! if you aren't pg this time i would try going out there! If there success rate is that high you could be pg(if not now) by next cycle! HI nicole! glad you found us! where are you at in your cycle? ok i'm gonna try to hold off on checking in until tonight!

Kelly11 - June 20

Staci I am so sorry to hear about AF! But I{m really glad to hear that your spirits are still up!!! Youll get that bfp soon, I just know it! I wouldn{t be surprised if clomid can do crazy things to our periods because those pills are just really full of stuff that probably does crazy stuff to our bodies...more crazy than I even want to know! I am at work right now so I dont have pics with me, but when I get home tonight i will make my piczo site!!! So excited to do that! Becca have fun at the game! I love going to live sporting events, but right now our team seattle mariners, are really sucking, so there is no point in going and watching them unfortunately. Lame I know. Tonia I really hope that youre just going to get a late bfp! Does your doc want you to go in for bloodwork or anything¿ Something is wrong with my computer for doing these upsde down question marks, weird!!! Well talk to you girls soon...gotta jet to work!

Becca - June 20

Kristina, that is so funny! I'd love to eventually end up in Downingtown or West Chester. My husband runs his own landscaping business and most of the work is in that area, but unfortunately the real estate is so expensive, Coatesville is the best we can do for now! I love downtown West Chester. It would be so cool to work there! Do you teach dance there? I've looked into the insurance thing and my particular insurace (because DH is self employed) doesn't cover any infertility diagnosis or treatment except clomid. I'm hoping that our insurance situation can change as soon as we get enough employees to be considered a "group" then at least the diagnotics would be covered and than we could at least see what we are up against. I have no idea what my problem is because I O every month (every 28 days exactly) on my own and DH's SA came back fine. My lp is 14 days, everything seems to be normal. I guess it wouldn't hurt to give them a call. Is the Paoli office the closest office to Coatesville? The person I know who went there said that iui was only about $350 - which isn't bad, considering how expensive it could be!

tonia - June 20

Wow! It is so cool that Becca and Kristina are so close! : ) Okay, I called my dr's office and she won't be back in until Monday the 26th! I should start af by then and dh's s/a will be done too. I really want to try IUI and clomid one more time before we go into IVF and my dr wants dh to see a specialist in Portland to see if he has any hormonal imblanaces. DH is so sweet and getting so very baby hungry, more and more everyday! Still no af or any sign of her and I am on CD38 and 20dpiui! sheesh, af please get here! Maybe last week when I had tose 3-4 days of + OPK's I was ovulating? When my dr did te ultrasound last tuesday, she said there was a corpus luteum cyst on the right, maybe it was a fresh one? WHO knows? I want to know what is happening to me! HA! I'm going crazy here! Staci, I understand why you aren't upset about af, so much. When it is late, you just want to get it over with, unless of course, you are preggers! Anyways, I am going back to work now! CAme home and had some yummy food for lunch! Back to the Home Loans! : ) talk to ya's soon!
