Cramping Since Ovulation

Hey, I just want to know if anyone else has experienced this. We have been ttc for five months, I decided to buy the ovulation strips. It showed a positive for 2/6, so we did our thing on 2/6 and 2/7. Around 2/7-2/8 I had a very painful ovulation, My left side felt sore, I couldn't even touch it. Since then I have had cramps, some points during the day I feel like I'm getting my period and other it feels a bit uncomfortable, but they are still there. Could this be a sign. I don't want to start thinking it and then get my hopes up and it be nothing in the end.

Sounds like you could be. I am pretty sure that I am (I have one childe already) but my af isn't due until the 18th. But what you are experiencing and when it started for you - the exact same thing is happening to me. I also have the blue veins on my nipples now and around my v____a (VERY strong indication of pregnancy) Those started showing up for me roughly two days ago. The cramps started around 4 dpo and they are getting worse. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya'! Good Luck! Oh and your left side feeling sore? For me it was my right - it felt like those side cramps you get when you've been walking too fast for too long, and you have to stop and rest and wait for it to go away before you can start walking again (know what I mean?). Is that how yours felt?

Hi La Rae thanks for your response. It didn't feel that way then, but now and then it feels like that. Those first two days it just hurt, it felt bruised. i pressed down on it and I almost started screaming from the pain. I have a 28-30 day schedule so I don't believe that I am due for AF for another week or so, so hopefully the signs start coming out. another weird thing that happened was the other night I went to bed at 8pm and woke up at 8 am. I can not remember the last time I got that much sleep. LOL

If you are pg - would this be your first? With my son, I remember sleeping A LOT more than usual within the first week of conception. Now that I am older, I am tired pretty much all the time anway. But I do find myself almost zonking out at my desk at work around 2 in the afternoon. I have to FORCE myself to stay awake. That started happening to me around 4 days ago. Your symptoms so far sound promising. Extreme fatigue is one of THE first signs of early pregnancy. Once again I wish you Good Luck! Keep me posted ok? Anything new happens, please post it ok? I am willing to bet that you will have something new to tell us within the next 3 or 4 days.....

La Rae, Thanks for the positive feed back. Yes, this will be our first (if it is). We are sooo looking forward to having a baby. I really hope that everything works out. I will keep you posted.

hi lynn and la rae - yeah, i've had on and off cramps since ovulation, just general twinges around my uterus and right ovary. but it doesn't feel like AF, it isn't as strong. lynn - this would be our first as well. if the pain for ovulation was so bad (have you had that before) you may want to see a doctor about it anyway? good luck to all! la rae, i'm convinced you are preggo!
