Does anyone have cramps when ovulating? Trying to figure it out...

I have little sharp pains and twinges usually...but have had a dull ache occasionally.

I get everything from very localized cramps to a general ache that makes me feel like my uterus is about to fall out - as though the entire thing is bruised.

I recently went of birth control pills, and I now feel pain when ovulating. Like what Lin says about my uterus feeling like it si about to fall out! Not a fun day, but I always know when it's happening.

I always had cramping around ovulation and I thought that I was ovulating the day I felt the cramps. It wasn't until I started using opk's that I realized that I got cramps a few days BEFORE ovulation. It is normal...some feel them before ovulation when the follicles are enlarging, others feel them when they ovulate, from the follicles bursting to release the egg.

I should add that this month I had very localized pain in my right ovary three or four days before ovulation and full-uterus aching pain the day of (dates estimated by temping & opks).
