Cycles After M C And D Amp C

I posted this same question in the "general pregnancy questions" section as well, as I know this isn't really a signs of pregnancy question. However, since this section sees to be more active, and b/c I know many of you all have had m/c I hope you all may be able to offer some advice. Thanks. After my m/c (12/07) my cycles have been very different than before. I use to have alternating cycles every other month, one 26, the other 33. After the m/c (and D&C) they are all about 30 days. Not to mention I now spot anywhere between 3-5 days before my actual cycle starts. The change in cycle length is not such a big deal, but the spotting is a lttle annoying and wonder if it's cause for concern. Just wondering if anyone else cycles are different and if they were and are now back to "normal" how long did it take? Thanks

I see there is a similar thread about spotting, and I will head over there to get info about all that. But am stil interested to know if others cycles are messed up or different after m/c and/or d&c

hi apple,i dont think you should be too concerned. i have always had a 28 day cycle wethwr on bcp or not. i stopped bcp in jan. 07 in hopes to conceive shortly thereafter. i did conceive in march but m/c in april. i did not need a d/c and after waiting 5weeks i started my usual period on a normal for me 28 day ctcle. out of the blue in march i got 2 periods and again in april af started after only 21 days. the answer i got from my doctor was that a womans cycle can change at any time. i started taking vitamin b6 to lengthen my lutheal phase. i am always stressed and have anxiety so it never effected my cycles before. they believe i dont ovulate so now i am doing clomid and iui this month. mid cycle spotting is normal for some woman as they are ovulating and if you spot a few days before af i cant imagine it being a huge problem. ask your doctor though to see if they have input.

thanks, hope! I appreciate the response. I'm sorry too about your loss...pretty miserable. I tried calling the doc today, but of course called after 5pm so I'll have to call tomorrow. how much b6 are you taking? I currently take Folgard (actually for another mutation MTHFR that I have) but it has, I think 115mcg of B6, wonder if that would be enough? I think too I am worried about everything since we seem to be having a difficult time ttc.

i take 100mg a day and it worked immediately. the 1st month it gave me a 26 day cycle and now i am about 23 so it is going up and down.
