Disappearing Faint Positive

Has anyone had this an still have been pregnant... I think it may still be to soon... Here is why? I had ovulation pains in the 2nd week of the month then I had it again in the third week. I think I may not have actually ovulated earlier and (I was previously on the depo) I don't think I have been ovulating since I got off. I think the second time was actual ovulation. I started af 1 day early and it lasted only 2 days and then the cramping was not half as strong. I took a test friday - and I took one today and I saw a faint line but it disappeared. I assume it is negative until I get a bold positive should I give up hope? I am gunna continue as normal ttc.

Hi, I'm not sure myself, but I didnt' want this post to go unanswered. I would say it's probably negative, but you could test again in 2 days time to be sure. By then the line should either have gotten stronger, or it will be blank. You may have got the faint line, because a very early pregnancy didn't take, or it was an evap line. But in 2 days time the hormone would double, if it was positive, so you'll know for sure. Whatever happens, hope things work out for you soon.

thanx C, I am not taking this as a positive as I said before I had 2 faint positives in August and af was late but there was no pregnancy. So I know what kind of let down it can be when you get your hopes that high. How long have you been ttc?

I had a faint + in feb, I contacted the doc and he said a + is almost always correct, unfortunately nowadays people test very early, so are very upset when af starts a few days later. He booked me in for bloods and a scan and the morning after af came. I was gutted. I was 4 days late (never late) He said it was probable to think it was a chemical pregnancy. It still went down on my medical records as m/c. As did the one I had 5 months ago. When they are recorded, it can be a history of m/c, and the drs then keep a close eye when checking for problems. I hope all goes well for you, lots of baby dust your way. Good luck Nell :)

Nell, I am pregnant now but it did take several months! This forum was great to chat and vent on. I joined one of the ongoing groups/threads here, I think they offer the best support, and it's nice to meet a group of people who understand..Hope you get BFP soon!
