Does Birth Control Help

Hi everyone! I have irregular periods. I have been pregnant twice in 3 1/2 yrs and both were misscariages. Someone told me I should take birth control for 2 or 3 mths and it would increase my chances of getting pregnant. Is this true?

Birth control can help to regulate hormones, this doesn't mean you will get pregnant easier, but it will regulate your cycles. With a more regular cycle it is easier to become pregnant. They suggest you wait a full cycle to try to become pregnant after taking the pill. Women with poly cystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis are told to take the pill to help regulate their hormones and help with symptoms, but I'm not sure if this helps them acheive pregnancy or not. I have "heard" that you can become pregnant easily after taking the pill. I don't have personal experience with that though.
