After ovulation, it doesn't really tell you all that much. I almost always have more cm than any other point in my cycle after ovulation, and it's normally thick, white and creamy. Sometimes there's just a little bit, and sometimes there's a huge amount - it just depends on my hormone levels I guess. Many women report this as a sign of pregnancy, but I really think it can go either way. If it's something that is hugely abnormal for you, then it could be promising, but there's really no way to tell. I did notice this month after my hCG trigger, I had an abnormally large amount of it, so I can see why it could indicate pregnancy. That hasn't been the case for me in the past, though. When do you plan to test?

Hey Lin, how are you doing? how are all your treatments going? i really hope you guys are successful soon.. i dont know much about all what you're going through, but you're in my thoughts and prayers... it is something that has been different for me for this cycle.. i tested this morning and got a bfn.. but i got my positive opk on Wednesday the 31st and proceeded to have mild cramping that didnt stop until the morning of the 1st... so i dont know if i'm actually only 11dpo..and if so i guess thats really early to test... so i've got some dollar tree tests and i'm expecting AF on wednesday or thursday.. i figured i'd just keep testing every day until AF shows or until i hopefully get that positive i'm waiting for.. haha...

Well there's definitely still a reasonable possibility that you're pregnant this month! I prefer to test early, too. I find that seeing the bfns before af arrives lets me down slowly, and there's always that extra little ray of hope that it's still just too early. I know it sounds negative to some, but I prefer not to let any little symptom get my hopes up too far. That way when I really am pregnant it'll be a nice surprise without letting me down too hard in the interim. My doc is going to do a blood test this cycle because of the meds I'm on, and I think I've decided that I'm definitely going to do an hpt beforehand. If it's a bfn, I'd rather be prepared for it rather than be anxiously awaiting the result only to be let down. Besides, the last person I want to be talking to when I finally get a positive result is the nurse, doctor or lab tech. I'd rather be sharing the moment with my husband first.

i totally agree with you Lin.. its easier to be let down slowly like that... i think... instead of emphasize on one particular day and get your hopes smashed... i did that this morning and couldnt get a wink of sleep because i was so anxious... but yeah i keep having all this creamy discharge.. theres alot of it and i'm not used to having this before AF.. i mean who the hell knows at this point cause my body has been all screwy.. but we did bed before my positive opk and during and after.. so we've done all we can... the only other thing i've had is i'm really tired and my b___bs feel tender... but that could be related to something else i suppose.. so we'll see... just gonna try to keep the spirits up.. DH is totally convinced there is a bun in the oven.. haha.. we'll see... :)

hey izechs, imo i do believe that this lotiony cm could mean something. it was def a sign for me in the pregnancy and it was in my last pregnancy too...so i would def be hopeful with the lotiony cm. it's especially a good sign if your not used to having this before af. like myself i wasn't used to it so i a__sumed that it could be a very good chance and well it was!
