Early Signs Of Miscarriage

I expected AF today, but still isn;t here. I have had mild cramping since last night, and as I type this, I;m have sharp pains in my left side by where my ovaries would be. I haven;t had any bleeding, but the pain is intensifying. Are these signs of miscarriage?

Generally the pain of miscarriage is compared to the pain that you have when you are about to get your period. It gets more painful the farther along you were. But you would have barely been pregnant if you expected af yesterday, so it should feel just like the normal cramping you get before your period. Or something I just thought of is an ectopic pregnancy, where for some reason the egg attaches and starts to develope in your falopian tubes. This is a possibility so I would urge you to go see your doctor ASAP if the pain doesn't stop. If this is what you have and the baby continues to grow it will rupture your falopian tube which could cause you to bleed to death internally. Sorry, this is going to be a scarry thing for you to read, but I really think you should go see your doctor.
