Does either of you know what your cervix feels like? How is this different? Do you think you are feeling an embryp? No way!

i was just wondering if maybe it was some kind of cancer or something...i've never felt a lump there either....if i am pregnant..could it hurt the pregnancy, or the baby at all if i am pregnant?

Technically, if you are one to two weeks pregnant, you are just know about to ovulate, if you haven't already. He probably just felt your cervix.

i don't want to sound stupid, but um...is your cervix supposed to feel lke a "hard marble"? And what does that mean?

What you felt was your cervix...you need to have your gynecologist explain the reproductive system to you, maybe seeing a diagram would help. Also, 1 week pregnant is 1 week before you ovulate, and 2 weeks pregnant is when you ovulate....also, even if you were pregnant, you couldn't feel the baby from inside you.

Your cervix feels different at different stages of your cycle....at some points in your cycle it can feel hard, like the tip of your nose. At other times it can feel soft, like your lips.

The first time I felt my cervix, I wasn't well informed, and I also thought oh no do I have cancer or something??? So I went to a gynecologist and told her what I felt, and she explained everything to me. It really helps to be really well informed.

thank you sammy, you helped alot, i was really confused. should i have it checked any ways..just to be sure?

I'm pretty sure it's just your cervix you're feeling, but if it would make you feel better to have it checked, by all means have it checked...I know how it is to worry about something like that! Also, I thought I'd mention that at different stages in your cycle your cervix can move up and down, so at some times it may be easier for you to feel than others...maybe you have a long v____al ca___l and when your cervix is in the farther up position you just can't feel that high with your finger...With me I can always feel it, but it does move farther up at different times. I'm glad I could help.
