Has anyone used this and actually got pregnant off of it? I'm just wondering because I've heard positive things about it, but it would be nice to get feedback from actual users. Thanks.

How does it work- what's it supposed to do? I haven't heard anything about it either, JK. Maybe someone will have some experience...

EPO is supposed to increase cervical mucous. You take a couple of capsules every day from AF to O. I used it for three months with no luck. Then I read a book about eating for my blood type. I am type O and it said EPO was NOT good for my blood type and I should avoid it. I stopped taking it and presto, I was pregnant the next month! I tried all the tricks of the trade, robitussin, green tea etc. and the month I got pregnant I wasn't using any of them. I know we are desperate to have a baby, but I really think that going natural is the way to go. It will happen in due time. Good luck to you!

Oh, I forgot. I heard that baby carrots also increase your cm. I think that would be a better choice since it is natural and good for you too!

I've heard so many different things about EPO. Thanks for your story Deb. Is there anyone who has used EPO and honestly believes that it helped in conceiving??

ANYONE? I'M VERY CURIOUS ABOUT THIS TOO.

Dear jk, There's no reason to think that evening primrose oil will help you get pregnant. Cervical mucus is only very rarely a cause of difficulty in getting pregnant. Keep in mind that there is only a 20% of getting pregnant in any given cycle. That's not because the timing is off or the sperm didn't get near the egg. The most common reason is that something is wrong with either the egg or the sperm or the combination of the egg and the sperm. There is nothing you can do about these factors. Therefore, in women who do not have an actual infertility problem (unable to get pregnant after a year of trying), there is nothing you can do to improve your chances of pregnancy. BBTs won't help, OPKs won't help, robitussin won't help, nor will anything else. For couples trying to conceive: 50% will be pregnant in 4 months, 75% will be pregnant in 8 months and 90% will be pregnant within a year. There is no way to change these odds. Sincerely, Amy www.askdramy.com

You're right. The tone wasn't too helpful, was it? I guess what I was trying to say is that there are sometimes misunderstandings about why you don't get pregnant right away. A lot of companies suggest that if you buy their product, you will get pregnant faster. They imply that the reason you don't get pregnant right away is that something is wrong and you must take action to fix it. The truth is that it is normal not to get pregnant right away, not because anything is wrong with you, but because that's the way the process works. You shouldn't get frightened if you don't get pregnant right away and you don't need to spend money, either. It's going to happen for over 90% of women without doing anything besides having s_x. Sincerely, Amy www.askdramy.com So, I put it rather clumsily, but what I meant was: don't worry, nothing is wrong.
