Here we go again....

Jessica... I think you should do another test. Look at my situation. I knew something was wacky, but I didn't know what. I didn't feel pg, but you have more experience than me in that field. :) When did af rear her ugly head again? When are you due to have her again? My mother-in-law is a pain in the neck, as she is so overly controlling about a lot of things. She's got a lot of issues... I'm just scared about her being around my kid too much. Her nasty way might rub off on him or her. :)

I got my af though, that's the only thing that's keeping me from testing. I dont have the sore bbs or anything like that just nausea sometimes and being tired all the time and extremely emotional...So you dont have any of those symptoms??? af showed up on 9/16 and she's due again around 10/21...You poor thing, I know what you mean. I have a daughter (6yrs old) from a previous relationship when I was younger and her grandmother would drive me crazy. When I gave birth she came to NY to "help me" what a mistake, I wanted to bond with my baby and the only way I could do it was by locking myself in the room. If the baby would cry she was knocking on my door. Yes I was young but that didnt mean that I didnt know what I was doing. Just relax, just remember she's family and they dont know any better sometimes.

holy cow, boy have i missed alot. How are you ladies doing? I have been so busy with clinicals that I have not had time to get online with the amount of homework i've had. How are things? Can some one update me so I don't have to go back and find that last thread?

Subecca, I suppose the wait for the Drs appointment is just horrid huh! How is everyone else? Aish, Justine, Jessica, Dawn? I know I am forgetting everone, sorry :-( So Subecca or anyone who may want to answer. You guys talk about your ewcm. The last two months though I did get a positive opk around day 13-14 of my cycle, I did not get any ewcm. I started spotting for FIVE days starting 9-16-05. Then it stopped for like 2 days and then it was on again starting from like 9-22-05. Today is the 27th and I felt something wet and I went to the bathroom and there was all this EWCM. Now I am confused. It seems a bit early to be O'ing. DH and I did bed last night, so if I am I am safe. And we just sat there in missionary position afterward and layed still for a good 5-10 mintues just talking about nothing. So what do you guys think???? Doesn't it seem a bit early to be ovulating?

Jessica - September 27

I'm convinced this is the wacky cycle thread...Ashley I wish I had an answer for you but to say that it's been very different for myself also. News from the last thread, Suebecca got a BFP. Other than that I think we're all waiting to O sometime from now til next week then it's that infamous tww....That EWCM sounds promising, I'd BD just because and then if you O sometime around next week or so just to be on the safe side I'd bd every other day. How long is your cycle usually, I think that all determines when you O. Since I'm 35days it's later for me than for most, my af came the same day as yours 9/16 but it only lasted 2 days. Today is cd11, I usually O around cd 16-20....

Jessica, I can feel you pain! I have a step-daughter who's 8. My dh's ex is a nightmare and like I said, my mother-in-law is crazy too. She has a room in her house for my step-daughter and it's so lavishly decorated, you'd think the child lives there all the time. My MIL also when to my dh's ex's house to decorate her room there when they bought a new house and spent a bundle on it. ???? right? I told my dh that she wasn't pulling any of the kind of c___p w/ our kid and that I was going to draw the line in the sand early. UGH!

Jessica, my AF hasn't been normal since I quite the depo shot 16 months ago. My periods usually come every 27 days. If I started counting from 9-16 I am on day 12. If I count from the heavy stuff 9-21 then I am only on day 7?? Who the heck knows! I figued I wouldn't ovulate until oct 4. But guess I am wrong? I never even got ewcm last two months.

ashley - September 27

Subecca you have got to be kidding me!!!! Yeah I'd set the MIL straight!

Jessica - September 27

Suebecca - That is so funny. You know my daughter's grandmother had custody of her other granddaughter and she did the same, dictated that little girls life. Well when it came to me I guess she thought it was going to be the same way & I wasnt having that at all. I'm glad my MIL now isnt like that but she still has her issues...

Jessica - September 27

Ashley - Well according to my dr you ovulate 15 days before af is due. If af was 9/16 then you'd be ov sometime around cd 12 which would be tomorrow for you so that ewcm seems very promising. maybe u didnt o since u got off the depo or maybe you did and never caught it maybe now it's finally back on track but it definitely seems promising, as for that other bleeding, I have no idea. I'd bd with your dh again tonight and tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

Suebecca - September 27

Jessica, the only symptoms I've gotten so far are: bloating, mild, stretching type cramps, and exahustion... and I guess spotting if you want to count that or not. I'm terribly moody too, which all made me thing I was getting af. Ashley... I've been good, how have you been? About the EWCM... I read that it's really important that you have that when you O, since it provides the right swimming environment for your dh's little guys. :) W/out it, they can't swim up the cervix and into the fallopean tubes. As far as O'ing goes, you can go at weird times in your cycle I think... depending on stress or other factors. Did you use your OPK this month?

Justine - September 27

OMG! I go out and leave you all for just a couple of hours and not only have you begun a new thread but the amount of chat that went on in that first hour means we'll be on a new thread every couple of days at this rate...lol! I can just see us in a months time 'expecting af around november 17? joins us! *part 9,000*! anyway as we're ranting about inlaws, here's my story... dh's aunt told him just before we got married for him not to marry me as we're too different and then just after we got married she said his ex-wife had been better for him than me (even though she'd apparently told him before that she couldn't stand her)!!!!!!!! You have to hand it to her though she said both of these things right in front of me and then when I walked off in a huff and told her I'd heard enough she tried to give me a hug! What the heck...!

Suebecca - September 27

Ashley, Yeah, Depo can cause weirdness. My best friend did depo for awhile and she had some really strange periods for like 6 months or something. Have you talked to you doc about it? As far as my mother-in-law, that's not even the 1/2 of it. All she does it complain about my dh's ex ... about how horrible she is as a mother (which is down right true) and how she wants to dump my step-daughter off. Then my MIL turns around an induldges my dh's ex at the drop of a hat. She always has her on the weekends the ex is supposed to and it's just a sad situation, but the strange part is the child LOVES her mother. Dh and I talked about fighting for custody, but it would crush the child. Oh well... that's another story... but yes, I'm so afriad that my MIL will try to control her life, especially when the baby is born. I can see her trying to come over every day... UGH! Don't woryy, I will set it all straight. I guess it's the northerner in me or something. I live in Virginia and I'm from NJ originally. :)

ahsley - September 27

alright you got me started! sorry if this gets long!! Okay lets see where to start, ha ha.... I met my ex when I was 16 (Im now 27) We dated off and on for several years. When I was 21 I got pregnant and his mom told me to have an abortion. My ex was going to do the right thing since we had been dating at that point almost 6 years, but she convinced him not to and at 6 weeks pregnant he called the wedding off and I moved away! So at 6 months pregnant I decided to move back and not let his mom have the better end. Needless to say she was so coniving and backstabbing that it drove a wedge between me and my ex and he refused to stand up to her so I left him for good! She pays for him to get an attorney and try to get custody away from me, well lost of money later, I got full custody and he got very minimal visits. He had a one night stand with this chick and gets her pregnant and marries her! His mom severely disapproves again! This time he told his mom off and doesn't talk to her any more. Well the best part is he found out his new wife was a royal b****. Infact she was so jealous of our daughter that she made him choose between her and thier son or my daughter, which he choose them. He hasn't seen her in over two years and we finally had his rights stripped and my husband adopted my daughter! Now my ex's mother kisses my a__s everyday and is at my beck and call and apologizes up and down so that she may still be involved in my daughters life. We've made ammends but she knows if she screws up shes out of my daughters life! Now wasn't that a story! ha ha ha!

Suebecca - September 27

Justine... now that you've given me more fuel to burn the MIL fire... here's another gem about mine. When dh and I were dating... mind you... we were dating for well over a year... she still had a wedding portrait of my dh and his ex in her living room. Now *that* really made me want to bond w/ her! :) I think my MIL was holding on that dh and his ex would get back together... I guess becuase of the child. Who knows. When she found out that we were ttc, she suddenly wanted to become my best friend. We're not telling her until close to the first trimester ending. Wonder why??? :)

Suebecca - September 27

Justine and Ashley... WOW! Your stories put mine to shame. Holy smokes!
