Hi Ladies,
Im new to writing on the forum but have been a silent observer for the last couple of months. Last Month I decided I wanted to have a baby. I Knew my periods were pretty irregular so I went and bought a saliva Ovulation kit. The saliva kit and the regular first Answer ovulation kit told me I was ovulating around the 10th. So of course I s_xed it up during those days. My period was sopposed to come on the 20th but it didn't so I went and bought a pregnancy test. The results came back negative. A few days later I started to feel very sharp pelvic pains. I went to the emergency room and they took a blood test and a urine test and told me I was pregnant. I was shocked because even though my period was not around, i kep on getting negative hpt results. The doctor told me that my pelvis pain should be looked at as a threatned miscarriage and that I should be careful. Has anyone else ever went through severe pain during pregnancy?

I haven't gone through it but miscarriage is VERY common. One in five women miscarry when they are pregnant. There is nothing you can do about it. It is usually caused by a bad egg or chromosonal problem. A lot of women don't get positives on home pregnancy tests until they are several days, or even weeks late. Good luck! Sticky baby dust to you!

Hey masa, when I found out that I was pregnant, I had pain, like cramping. It is totally normal to have cramping. Don't worry until there is a reason. You will be fine. Pleae let us know how you are feeling in the future. :)

masa, I too had lots of pelvic pain and cramping right after I found out I was pregnant. I agree with Cindy, it is normal, so try not to worry.
