Well I was able to get an appt. with my OB/GYN today. So I'm going to get a blood pregnancy test done. So hopefully it will be a + and I won't need this advice. But on the likely chance that it's a - I was wanting some advice from you ladies on getting started with monitoring my cycle and ovulation and all of that. My boyfriend is going to have to go back to Iraq in August, and we've both decided it would thrill us to have a baby on the way before he leaves. I'm going to ask my doctor this same question today, but I'd love advice from you ladies who are currently going through this!! Thanks :)

Oh just another bit of info: I don't currently know anything about my cycle, due to the fact that I had utrerine polyps that were removed in Dec. So I imagine I might have to take some BC to try and regulate... Is that a correct a__sumption?

Most of us here use Fertility Friend and chart our BBT (Basal Body Temperature). It's your waking temperature -- we take it before you get out of bed, go to the bathroom, speak, drink or do anything. Once you start charting, you can see when you're ovulating (temp goes low), and you can track CM, BD-ing, etc. You can also share you chart with ummm... I dunno.... all of us!! (for stalking!!)
