Ok here's a long story short. I'm ttc #1. Last month my period started early (2 days to b exact)which was on 12/13 (11/17 month b4)and you can time AF by a stop watch. It was really light the first day, really really heavy the second day and spotting the third. It normally lasts for 3 days but it's usually the same flow. I've been having headaches, nausea, extreme br___t tenderness for about a week, and extremely tired. So if i go along with the 28 day method i should've started 1/10, but if i use the 26 day which was last months cycle it would've been 1/08. But if i go by my usual cycle i would start on 1/12?!?! So i guess my question is "Am i late?" and Do u think i could be pregnant? Thanks for all u help. And good luck to u all!!! ****Baby dust***

I don't think you can hang your hat on a day early or late. Ovulation is what really starts the cycle, and unless you follow signs of ovulation (BBT,CM, CP) and have a date for that, there is no way of knowing. Even then, the time between ovulation and menstruation averages 14 days but varies 10-16. You have some encouraging signs which started at an appropriate time. A week from now you will have a better indication, and it will be time to take your first test. Good luck!

So i took a hpt today and last night, it was one of the ones from this site that are supposed to measure hcg in smaller amounts than others. And i got a very very very faint second line. So does that mean I am pregnant?

The consensus is that the faintest line is still positive, but in my book you should be able to see it inside the specified time limit. Just wait a few days and your hCG levels will have doubled and the line will get more visible.

Last nights faint line appeared in more than the specified time limit. But todays appeared as soon as all of the die dispersed within 2 minutes.
