Grandpa Viv Zuly Ovulation Question Please Help Anyone

I know my posting is long, but please read!My husband and I are trying to conceive. My last period was Dec 11. We had s_x on the 16. One the 17, I felt like I was starting to ovulate. The 18 and 19, I knew for sure I was, because I had symptoms (discharge...) We had s_x on the 19 too. My period always starts around the 11th of the month, so it seems really early to be ovulating, but I know my body, and I am sure that is what it is. My question is, when is the best time to try to get pregnant? Just before you ovulate, during, or near the end? Do you think my chances of conceiving are high? I really hope so. My br___ts have been tingly and itchy, which never occurs this early in the stage, always nearer to my period. Today and yesterday I am having a really weird fluttery sensation in my abdomen. Is it too early to have symptoms? Are these normal symptoms? When do you think I could test, or is there even a chance I am pregnant? Please Help!!

The day before you actually ovulate has the highest chance, about 35% for a single act. After ovulation the chance drops rapidly since the egg only lasts 24 hours. Before ovulation the chance build up slowly from 5 days before, as sperm can survive that long. I'm happy you were watching your signs. The mucus also builds up in the days before ovulation and quits soon thereafter. If an egg was fertilized on the 19th, you might get lucky with a test the second weekend in January. Seems like a long way away, and we wish you every success. Your beginning signs are encouraging. Maybe you will get more as the week progresses.

Thanks Grandpa Viv for your reply. Hopefully I am pregnant, but is a fluttering sensation normal near my ovaries? I was pregnant before and had a mis in September, and my symptoms were very sore b___sts, but not until a few weeks into it. I don't know if I am just wishful thinking, or if there is actually a chance that I am pregnant. My fingers are crossed! Once again, thanks for your help. Anyone else have any advice?
