Heart Palpitations As A Sign Of Pregnancy

I haven't got my BPF yet. If I calculated correctly I am 3 days late. I have felt like my heart is going to jump out of my chest. This has mostly happens at night and at rest. This happened with all my other pregnancies, but I don't wanna get my hopes up. I am also on baby aspirinn for MTHFR. Could the aspirin cause this? I do have some other symptoms as well: exhaustion, weepy, irritable, faint twinges in the abdomen, flu-like feeling, random nose bleeds, and heartburn. Has anyone else had the heart palpitations as well?

I wish I knew more about this sweetie, but I don't. I am an anxious person to begin with and have always had issues with my heart racing and what not....so I couldn't tell you if that was a sign. But if it happenend with your otherpregnancies, I would definitely take it as a sign! You could just be anxious about everything, and that is what is triggering it.....but I wish you the best of luck!

Murfirhea, yes i do know what you are talking about. When i am due for af (hoping she doesn't show up) i always get palpitations. I was told it is due to hormone changes in your body. I have experienced some myself in the past few days. I wouldn't worry much about it right now. It could just be your hormones. If it does keep up for longer than a week or two then i would call your dr. Good luck!!!

Yes, I did too with my last son. Everything would be normal and then all of the sudden my heart would thump around and then go back to normal. It would only last 2-3 seconds. I went to the hospital not knowing I was pregnant. They didn't test me but I found out a week later.
