Heartbeat In Tummy

I know that the heartbeat in the stomach is your own...it's a major artery running to all the organs down there and stuff...so here's my point...I have many pregnancy symptoms so I'm gonna take a test, but I wanted to know if when you're pregnant if that beat is more noticable. I've always noticed it but the last few weeks it's been a little more intense and visible. Any help in this matter woud be awesome. Thanks.

I don't think so. If you are pregnant, and you haven't missed a period yet, the embryo is so little, you can barely see it .. let alone a heartbeat. hope that helps!

I've never heard of pregnancy making your own heartbeat more noticable - sorry!

well..I think pregnancy can accelerate your heartrate a little with all the blood pumping to different areas..but it could be anxiety too....my heart does that all the time!

I don't know about when the baby is soooo tiny as it would be in your case, but I am 23 weeks and I certainly can feel my own heartbeat in my stomach on a regular basis and not just the sensation but if I put my hand over my belly I can feel the pulsing also. GL to you!
