Help Determining Test Date

Hi all, I really need some advice. I am 32 years old, married and on Mononessa birth control pills. The first day of my last period began was September 4, 2008 (it started early that week for some reason). I finished taking the active pills on September 8. I should have begun taking the next pack of pills (active) on September 16, however, we had to evacuate because of the hurricane and with everything going on I lost track of the date and day of the week. My husband and I had unprotected s_x on September 15 and September 21. I began taking my pills on September 20. I have been taking them, but as of today I still have not started. I have had a little cramping, back pain and fatigue, but nothing else. I still haven't started and I cannot decide when my start date should be, so as to decide when I would be officially late. I took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago and it came back negative, but I'm not sure if I had waited long enough. Can anyone give me some guidance please? I am not sure how to determine at what point I am "late" since my cycle may be thrown from missing pills.

I would continue testing every three days or every other day until you either get AF or get a BFP! I went through the same thing back in January '07. It was December 27th that I started my cycle, and after starting I didnt take the sugar pills (as I usually didnt... not sure why but never have)... then I finally starting taking them again about two weeks later. So I missed 1 full week of active pills. 9 months later DS was born. So it is fully possible that you could be prego. Hopefully you get whatever it is you desire. But like I said before just keep testing till you get a + or until you get AF. Good luck to you Ash32!

Thank you so much for replying. I feel like I am in limbo. My husband and I are not actually trying right now, but we would both be incredibly happy if it did turn out that I was pregnant. I just really want to know! :)
