Hi , I have been measuring my basal temperature for almost a year and to date ,we are still not pregnant.I was wondering how accurate these basal temperature readings are when trying to identify wjhether you are pregnant. Is it true for everyone that when your basal temperature remains elevated for over a week, it means that you may be pregnant?Has anyone had low basal temperature readings when they found out they were pregnant?Does anyone use the saliva microscope(I do) and is this more accurate that basal temperature readings?

It all depends, you have to take your temp at the same time every morning, before getting up from the bed, usually it has to stay up for more than a week (2 weeks) but even then you may not be pg.

it does have to be taken the same time every morning as I've found out it can make such a difference, I've also noticed it makes a difference if I sleep with my mouth open my temps are lower!!! this makes it a nightmare for me as sometimes i do sometimes i don't!!!!
