sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do you calculate this?

The luteal phase starts counting day 1 as the day after ovulation, and the final day is the day before your period.

im a__suming this could change every month. so if you really dont know 100% when you ovulate its off

Lin - April 26

Yeah, you have to know when you ovulate to determine your luteal phase length. The luteal phase should not vary by more than a day or so each month.

yes, the leutal phase is supposed to be the same every month with a give and take of about a day. it is ovulation time that varies.

If you do not know when you O it can be diffucult to know exactly how long your luteal phase is.

well thats the thing im only going by ewcm and march cycle i o'ed early then april i o'ed late and now i suppose to o may 1 but i think im o today. so far ive been early late and now early.

Ewcm isn't very good to go by. I normally only have it about 4 days before ovulation (if at all), but last month I had it the day of. If you really want to determine your luteal phase, then you should temp for at least one month.
