how do you know when you have implantation bleeding?

Here's my opinion. It's easy to think of implantation bleeding as occurring at implantation, 7 to 10 days after conception, but the literature seems to use the term for any light bleeding in the first 4 to 6 weeks that is caused by the embryo settling into its new home. Often referred to as pink, with maybe some brown. May be confused with bleeding at menstruation time, which occurs in the first trimester for about 25% of pregnancies.

With one wipe we can get our hopes up! Your description is similar to many others. Pray for a few early signs of pregnancy in the next few days. Take a test a week after the missed period.

this question is for Viv- I wiped the other day and with my normal discharge thare was some pink stuff. I mean very lightly. Could this be implantation? Also I have pains on my sides, like by my ovaries, what could that be? I had cramps the other day, they are gone now. I am expecting my period the 7th. I took a test yesterday afternoon and it was negative. What do you think? Thank you and please respond.
