HI ALL- HOW EARLY CAN OR DO SYMPTOMS START- FOR EXAMPEL NAUSEA, ECT. THANKS A BUNCH!

KT - November 2

I don't know Samie, but i have been nauseated for a week, and cramping too. I think I O'd last week, but still have +OPK test today. I amon CD 25, and waiting. what do you think?

why would you take an opk test if you ovulated last week? Do you mean an hpt test?

Amanda - November 2

Opk test can pick up on the hcg hormone and still show a positive. How long have you had that positive on the opk? It should only show positive when you O and if it later detects hcg. If it is alway positive you may have something wrong going on. If you read on peeonastick.com it will explain how they work and how long you should be getting positive readings for. I hope that helps. Good luck!

If you tested with an opk and it was positive, it may mean that you are pregnant. Opk's can detect HCG, so if I were you, I would use an HPT asap!!! As for your question, symptoms are caused by HCG in your system, so symptoms can't start until the egg has implanted and hcg production begins (6 - 12dpo). I think many people on this site have "phantom" symptoms because they want it so bad, but in reality it is way too early. Also remember that most pregnancy symptoms are identical to AF symptoms, so often people think they are pregnant when really AF is about to show up. Hope this helps and good luck!

I agree deb, some of these great ladies want that baby bad. Hmmm...now that i read your post...I've been nausious from 6dpo until this very day, 12dpo. Im due for af on nov.4th.
