How Far Pregnant Might I Be

I have today taken a preg test which was positive. My periods have always been very light so sometimes in my week off the pill i might have nothing and I dont keep a record. Therefore the last definite period is a bit sketchy. I know this makes me sound stupid so please dont have a go at me. Over the last while (6wks tops)I havent felt right, lack of apet_te,initial weight loss, tiredness but put it down to change of jobs, house move etc. In the last 2-3wks i have had increased back pain, sore and hard br___ts,severe lack of apet_te for alcohol, bad cramps in my lower stomach especially after groin stretching and now finally this week I felt bloated and there is a v slight swelling and I feel my bums got bigger. Can I please have any opinions on how far advanced you think the pregnancy is? (obviously gonna get it checked out but very, very curious)

I have no idea but you said you are on the pill. Did you forget to take a pill or two? Otherwise it's pretty hard to get pregnant on the pill so maybe if you forgot to take a few, if you remembered when that was it would help narrow down when you might have conceived.

I agree with Lisa; that is going to be your best bet for now. You would have been fertile during your 2nd week of pills if you missed some then. I suggest you get a quantative blood test. Your hCG level will give you a good idea of how far along you are. Just remember, you subtract 2 weeks from your "weeks pregnant" to figure when you conceived. best to you!

Oh, and I forgot my ususal lecture. Get on some pre-natal vitamins right away! EARLY pregnancy is the time they are so important (the folic acid greatly reduces the chances of spina bifida). CONGRATULATIONS!
