How To Chart O

AF showed this morning, making my cycle 31 days long. Now I'm not sure how to tell when my next o will be. I have only been using the computer to calculate when o will start. Any one with same problem?

What you need to do Jenny is the day you finish with AF, put a thermometer beside your bed, on a nightstand, and at the SAME time every morning, while you're in the bed and all (don't get up), take your temp and write it down. For example, I took my temp and it was 97.4 one day, 97.6 the next, 97.3 the next, etc....those are all pretty consistent, but when you have a drop (as in a degree or so) that when you are Oing. Try this and see. Worked for me! I noticed my temp dropped, then I o'ed then my temp stayed constant and on the day AF is due its suppose to drop again, but it didn't, it remained pretty much constant. That, in most cases, means you're pregnant! Good luck and I hope this helps!!!

Thanks Nissa, Do you ovulate for more than one day?

I believe you ovulate only one day but not sure what time of day it will happen, so just know you have twenty-four hours from the time you ovulate to bd. For me, I was due to ovulate on the 26th of Oct. (I know this because on fertilityfriend.com, they predict it for you based on your cycle info that you type in - you should try it - its free!!) so my husband and I bd on the 25, 26 and 27. (to cover the day before, day of and day after)...I could tell from my cm that I was o'ing...it turns to an eggwhite consistency and almost looks like a string of snot (sorry for being gross and tmi) but thats all I know to compare it too. When your cm is like that, you are ovulating and its your most fertile time. If you notice that you have the same kind of cm on another day, which i did also, make sure you bd then too because the predictor may be a day or two off. So keep an eye on that and that will also be an indicator! ~~~Baby Dust~~~~
