How To Stay So Postive

I have a question for all of you who have been trying for many months. How do you stay so positive? This is my first month ttc, after about a year of thinking about it.I am due for AF on monday, and don't know what to think. One minute I think I'm having symptoms, the next nothing. I have been having alot of cramping, only at night though. Now I am also have bad constipation. I am also very weepy (can you tell by my self pity here). This is a very emotional time for us all and would like to know how others are coping.

hi maddie, i am not going to lie, and say that it is easy...because it isnt. i find that i get so discouraged every month, and this is only my 4th month of ttc. ( or maybe 3rd lol ) it is the worst for me though when i think that i might be, and then get one negative result after the other. and then a few days later, i am fine again. i do know what you mean about the women on the site who do seem to stay positive, and they do...and most have been trying longer than the both of us lol. i wish you all the best of luck, and my only advice to you is the same that i get as well, and that is to stay as positive as you can, and it will happen, it might take some time, but it will. again i wish you the best of luck! and i hope that i helped some.

maddie lol, you are not pathetic. we all know how you feel, and what you are going through, and i am sure that most of us have felt just how you do as of now, i know i have. take care, and keep us posted. again gl.

Hi Maddie, I to started trying a month ago. I was due for AF yesterday and nothing yet. My b___bs have been hurting, i have heartburn, but that's about it. I usally have major cramping right before AF, but so far none of that. It's so hard cause i'm hoping we get lucky the first month, but am trying to stay level headed with it all. How long do you think you'll wait unitl you test?

maddie - May 13

Christine- I actually tested today with first response but got a neg...due on Sunday for AF. So I guess I'll wait and see.

why so sad if only trying month......

rach - May 13

i guess the only way to cope is think well i only have 28 days(or how ever long your periods are) to wait and this might be the month

m - May 13

makes me laugh to get so sad over nothing yet

meg - May 13

m, that is not really nice to say. every woman is dealing with this is her own way. if you need to act like that, maybe you should find another site

rach - May 13

m that was a bit nasty but can see where you are coming from

maddie - May 13

m...please save the nasty comment. No I'm not crying over something thats not. I'm frustrated. Never growing up to you learn that getting pregnant may be so hard. We spend so much time avoiding such a situation as we are younger. All I was saying is that we all put so much time and concern into this. seeing symptoms, charting, preparing for the best or the worst. I am human and the stress of all this gets to me. You may be cold toward this or impartial, this I am not sure. But, don't judge those of us feeling the stress and using this forum as an outlet to express our frustrations.

it reminds me of something my sister said 4 times ive been pregnant and panicked every time thinking please don't let me be pregnant because your not ready but when the tests say negative even though thats what you said you want deep down you feel like your heart is being ripped out do the rest of you feel this i mean i should stop having kids i'm 24 with 3 but everytime i take a test i know deep down i'm praying for the two lines
